Bass Lake Family Eye Care uses only premium lens products so you get the best vision possible out of your glasses. 

PROGRESSIVE LENSES (NO-LINE BIFOCALS)
When it comes to progressives, not all lenses are created equal. Bass Lake Family Eye Care uses Varilux Progressive products to give our patients the best sight at every distance. Varilux features progressive lenses for every frame, including trendy, smaller frames.  Most Varilux lenses feature a wide viewing corridor for optimum vision on the computer and easy adaptation. We believe every patient can adapt to a progressive lens, even if you have had trouble in the past.

CRIZAL ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATINGS
Looking for the best in anti-glare lenses? Bass Lake Family Eye Care primarily uses the Crizal Avance or Crizal Sapphire anti-reflective coating. In addition to top-of-the line glare reduction, Crizal coatings also feature a hydrophobic, anti-static layer to repel dust and dirt and a double sided scratch coating for the ultimate in scratch resistance. All lenses with a Crizal anti-reflective coating have a two year warranty for scratches or defects. 

TRANSITIONS
Bass Lake Family Eye Care only uses Transitions brand photochromic lenses. While Transitions lenses are completely clear indoors, they darken the instant UV rays are present, protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. Transitions lenses block 100% of UV rays up to 400nm.  
For those needing a darker final lens color with less emphasis on completely clear indoor lenses, there are Transitions XtrActive. These transitions lenses even work while driving and reach a full darkness in bright sunlight. Indoors, they carry a slight tint that many people find comfortable for indoor tasks such as working on computers.

ESSILOR COMPUTER LENS
The computer lens is a lens designed specifically for computer use and reading. Although these lenses cannot be used for distance vision, they work extremely well in an office environment and adjust seamlessly from your computer screen to closer distances such as your desk. • POLYCARBONATE
  Impact resistant lightweight lenses. All children and people who wear their glasses for sports should be in polycarbonate lenses.

• HI-INDEX LENSES
  Thinner and lighter plastic lens options. We carry the very thinnest lenses available (1.74 index) complete with Crizal anti-reflective coatings. There is a lens thickness available to make any prescription look good.

• PRESCRIPTION SUNGLASSES
  Bass Lake Family Eye Care can do a polarized or tinted sunglass lens in almost any frame we carry. If you’re looking for the best in sunglasses (prescription or non-prescription), we proudly carry Maui Jim sunglasses.

• BIFOCAL AND TRIFOCAL LENSES
  Despite the popularity of the progressive, Bass Lake Family Eye Care still carries and utilizes lined bifocal and trifocal lenses. These lenses work best for long-time lined lens wearers, or for those who don’t want to wear their bifocals all day. They are easy to use and offer sharp vision at defined distances.
